Preserving the Beauty of Horae Ceramics
Horae ceramics are handcrafted with care and intention. Each piece carries natural variations in form, tone, and texture—subtle signs of its making. To help your pieces last beautifully, we encourage you to read through the following care and usage guidelines.
Care Guide FAQ
-
Yes. Every piece is handcrafted with care, so slight variations in glaze, shape, and color are part of its character—not imperfections.
-
We recommend avoiding both. For longevity, please hand wash and dry each piece thoroughly.
-
These are natural results of the firing and glazing process. Flow marks, speckles, or tiny cracks (known as crazing) highlight the individuality of each work and are not considered defects.
-
It’s best to avoid prolonged soaking. Rinse and dry promptly after use to maintain the integrity of the piece.
-
Use soft cleaning tools such as a sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive or metallic scrubbers to prevent scratches.
-
Unless otherwise noted, Horae ceramics are intended for decorative use only. Please check individual product descriptions.
-
No. They are not designed for use in ovens or over open flames, as this may lead to thermal shock and cracking.

Due to the handmade nature of our work, we do not accept returns or exchanges for minor variations or marks related to the crafting process.
